  • problems idling

well over the winter i put a lt4 hot cam kit into my 96 z28. ive driven it just a couple ouf times and everytime it has trouble idling. the tach will rest at about 1000 rpm then drop to 500 rpm sometimes correcting itself other times it just stalls out. it generally tends to stall at slow speed when i brake. i have no idea whats wrong anybody got any help ??

its a 6 speed and no im not the one stalling it before any1 says anything

Im no expert by any means, but i have always thought if you do a cam, you should do a tune, to take full advantage of it.

i am pretty sure its a dyno tune unless i was misinformed, it would be kinda cool to get a like group dyno tune together and get a nice deal

depending how long my damn new cam takes it may be 4 weeks

if you get the right guy you can get a quick tune for that hot cam to work but no way will it work without the tune. my car has the 93 motor computer package have to pull the entire comp. out and have it burned in and then run it agian. if its 94 And up just a simple hookup.
