  • where to lift car

ready to drop the k in a 95 firebird to remove the engine from the bottom.

i dont have a strut tower brace so what is the best way to lift the body up using a car hoist?

I was thinking about bolting a chain to each fenderwell (using two hoist arms) but i dont want to damage anything

cant you use your hoist? If the body is on the hoist you should just be able to lift and leave the k-member fall right out where it sits.

alternatively i believe you can use the rad support.... double check that though.

doh i didnt even think about that. That seems like a logical method.
