[Extreme]

As many of you know, I have been gathering info on what to do to my Formula. Figuring out what needed to be done and what not. Well, I just bought all my parts inc;

• Opti-Spark Distributor
• Electronic Spark Module
• A/C Compressor
• Spark Plugs
• Plug Wires
• Wire Separators
• Distributor Cap & Rotor
• Fuel Filter
• Cold Air Intake
• Oil
• Oil Filter
• Tranny Filter
• Thermostat
• Coolant Temperature Sensor
• Serpentine Belt
• PCV Valve
• Valve Grommet

I got the best of the best on everything. I didn't cheap out at all. Well, Im going to be getting everything installed eaither this coming Monday or a week from this Monday. Im also having full 3" dual exhaust ran to 40 series Flowmasters. My question is though what other things should I look into doing? Any suggestions? What are some minor mods that can be done for a fairly decent price (Under $100 ea.) Just small things...Anything? What would you recomend for my next move?

go magnaflow or something nicer over flowmaster

maybe a ls1 aluminum driveshaft next. are you paying to get all that stuff done? most of that can be done at home fairly easy

I suggest magnaflow or something else over flowmaster, I heard flowmaster doesn't flow very well (ironic) but it does sound good. I have magnaflow on my lt1 and it sounds really good too. It's also all stainless steel.

yea flowmasters dont have the greatest flow.but they do sound awesome!

biggest problem with flowmaster is they rust really fast. A month old muffler will look like its a year old

I'd rather have more power than better sound, but sound is also a plus.

Perhaps leave the exhaust and get an electric cutout?
Joel has one and his car sounds near perfect.

I'll disagree my car sounds perfect... it would if i had a mandrel bent y-pipe instead of the crash job, but anyway...

where are you planning on fitting dual 40s?

Umm my flowmaster is older then a year old and it still hasnt rusted... The only rust on it is the tips

I wouldn't mess with a dual exhaust set up until you have headers. Thats my opinion on that. You could get a nice cat - back, or cut out in the mean time.

How many miles are on your car?

If your changing the thermostat make sure its a 160 degree one. You can make a manual fan switch to turn on your high low fans for about $20 from stuff at radio shack. You will notice a big difference when your car isn't near 220 degrees everyplace you go.

i hate the way my flowmaster sounds. it sounds good at idle and WOT, everything in between sucks. i need them cutouts bad and a new muffler

Cutouts would be nice, What type of air filter are you using?
