  • How to "Command On" AC Clutch on 2000 Firebird V6

So what terminals do I need to jump to "Command ON" the AC Clutch on a V6?

I know this is not the optimal way to do this, but want to be sure it will spin before throwing $$$ at it.

    Thanks in advance.

ok, so I put a can of R134 in it and it will turn on and blow cold. Now I need to find out why the fans are not coming on...

My relay for fan#1 was bad. I ordered a cheap Haynes manual to start getting some info on the later 4th gen 3.8 setup. My manual that I used for my 94 ends at 1998. I will start shopping for a proper shop manual. I paid like $60 for my 1994 one. I am seeing the 2000 ones for like $150 - WTH!

In short - AC is now blowing cold. I will check after a few weeks and see if I need to add leak sealer. Of course now the temps are nice and cold here in MI...

Yep - was leaking slowly. Was down to 25 PSI. I added the AC Stop Leak product and a can of R134a. Ac seems to be holding fine now and blowing ice cold.
