  • Does anyone use HP tuner here??

I just bought HP tuner. I'm opening up my car and Nicole's Trans Am. I'm hoping to be able to get someone else's similar tune for her, if not it's time to become a tuner.

I have hptuners, but all my files are for v6 cars.

#1 SAVE STOCK FILE. Save it to 3-4 places, cd-r, email, hard drive, and such just so you always have a copy to refer back to if needed. Never want to loose your stock file.

Get rid of torque management first, speed limiters, change the fan temps.

Then get some logged runs in to see how things are looking before tweeking other things

Its not hard when you figure out what what your PCM is TRYING to do. but that being said.. just dont go in and modify stuff.

I have HP tuners and the basics are important
