yea i noticed that. Ive honestly never seen a stock LT1 converter. In fact, the only converter ive ever seen is Superman09's stocker... and LS1s are likely different.-Joel

got the headers on, motor mounts were a piece of cake like you said, it was all in the head
everything is done except i just need to tq the bolts down, i didn't have a tool that could tightent them b/c they are so close to the primarys

it has taken me probably 6hrs to get this far

Yeah, bolts are going to be a ***** - they're a ***** in my third gen (which has marginally more space) - and I can use a closed (star) end 3/8 wrench, and it's still a *****.Gone but not forgotten: 1986 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z

do I need an O2 sensor?
my old one is stuck in the stock manifold and i dont feel like paying 50+ for a new one
emissions are already gone but does the O2 affect how the car runs?

If it is anything like an LS1 car you will need the ones that come out of the manifolds. You however don't need to have rear sensors in the car, But you will need the front sensors or the car will run in open loop at all times
