  • The LT1 ate another fuel pump...

So my car wont start again, no noise from the fuel pump. The walbro 255 has less than 2000 miles on it so I'm hoping it didn't fry it already. I haven't taken it apart yet but is there any sort of fuse or electrical component that may be a problem?

It started up fine earlier today like normal and then suddenly didn't start a few hours later, no whinning no nothin, just wouldn't start again.

    Any ideas?

Do you have a hotwire kit on it? If not thats probably what is killing them

yep hotwire kit should go with the upgraded pump always! Otherwise its running off low voltage all the time.

here is the caspers pump kit, I'd order it and put it on, usually its not the pump thats bad yet it just needs more juice.

I should have a warranty on the pump so hopefully i'll get a free replacement.

If not and it is the pump I'll let you know
