  • any good detroit area mechanic schools for basics?

    pretty food with most stuff, but would like to a lot more. i was told william D. ford in westland vocational ( night classes) , i i heard a lil more advance ten there high school training durring the day.

    any suggestions please put

    Macomb Community College ASEP program best anywhere around here.

    m planing on going to WyoTech in Northern Cali for High Performance Engine, Custom Fab, and Light diesel next fall

      UTI was a good school but its in Glendale Heights, IL... as far as mechanic schools go.. UTI will kill anything lincoln tech and wyotech have. Performance side.. i donno..... UTIs power and performance course was pretty short and sweet..

        Yea I have a friend going to UTI he said its pretty good...I dont know to many schools down detroit for AST.

          thanks everyone. i know i wont be moving, make wayy to much money to take a year off. plus with jobs in detroit, its tough. looks like ill try calling MCC to see if they have night classes ,

            a few years ago UTI was gonna start a school around detroit. I was contacted about a job but I haven't heard anything more about one being opened in this state
