No problem....i just got the new GM High Tech Performance today too!...and the guy i get my stuff him and his "teammates" are sponsored by patriot too. That's how i ended up with my heads...anyways. in the new GMHTP.... on page 71 where the patriot add is.. my friend Joe cauley..his dad's C5 racecar is in the patriot add. i thought it was cool. the guy danny has the exact same car except danny has chrome rims and jeff (my friend joe's dads...) has the black ones. (it's the only way to tell their cars apart from a distance) so check it out lol... it says TCC (touring challenge for corvettes) winner DJ Racing. And that's his team!

off topic, i just thought it was funny cause i was talkin to him today about patriot heads because he had just finished a new race motor when i went over today!

You totally read my mind, I definatly wanted to polish the valve covers if I got a chance and that would be sweet if you did that On a side note I also got my GMHTP yesterday and can't wait, its one of my favorite things to read. I'll post more pics probably tonite if I get much further.

Hell yeah party at my work next weekend, I really needed that fuel line disconnectot today lol because I got all that taken care of so I'll probably pick that up sometime this weekend as well as many other thing I still need. Hopefully I can have the heads off by next weekend and we can have a big head start and get it finished.

Sweet. yeah i would say just buy it. it's a cheap little tool. can buy it at any autoparts store. like i said... i think it was like $8 maybe

oh and the waterpump thing. i havent called danny yet. but have you thought about one of those meizer (sp?) electric water pumps? i mean if you're gonna replace it. why not pick up a few ponies from your accesory belt? just an idea.1

Yeah I have thought about it but they are $500+ and I'm already hurtin for cash after all this stuff, the new factory ones are only around $100 or so I think and I can find them for cheaper on other sites. I may just put this one back in and buy the mezeire when I get the cash just wanted to get some prices.

lol I really don't think those are worth it. 500 bux just for a few measly(sp?) horsepower?

And another thing.....when I gun the motor, I want the whole world to think it's coming to an end.

Well every little bit counts.... but yea i agree..those are a small fortune. but just a stock replacement would probably be the more "economical" choice lol

Yeah I will most likely just stick with the stock one and save the money for other things. On a side note I should be geting my intake manifold painted and headers coated this weekend and if so I will post pics up.

that's sweet!....what color are you getting the intake painted??? blue or something like your car??

come spring i'm really gonna consider that 90/90 setup with a wet 100 shot! possibly some roller rockers for my car too.

Yeah its getting painted a navy blue like my car and accented in silver, I'll probably do the lid just like it too. I definatly would consider the setup but as you know its very costly and I got a killer deal on it otherwise I'd have a LS6 with a ported TB. As for the rockers I just stuck with the stock ones after calling ETP as they said they showed minimal gain on all the tests they have taken so I figured I'd save it for other things and possibly upgrade later if I need to. That 100 shot should be wicked though, I've actually never been in a car with nitrous yet and would like to experience it first hand.
