Figured since I recieved almost all of my parts that I'd give you guys a little sneak preview and let you know whats going on with my ride (not that you all care). Well after spending loads of cash on mods heres what I have ready to install.

Pacesetter non-emissions headers with y-pipe (look in worse condition than they are since there not coated, I'll have more pics up after I take the rust off and coat them), LPE GT2-3 camshaft, ETP 5.3 assembled heads, Comp cams hardened pushrods, LS2 timing chain, Thunder Racing ported LS6 oil pump, Fast 90/90 setup, Autometer trans temp gauge, ZO6 replacement plug wires, NGk TR-55 plugs, Comp cams roller lifters. I also have UMI subframe connectors but there still at home. Hopefully I can find the time to install all of this soon because its driving me crazy just sitting around.

Thanks guys and yes I am very lucky since I got bad ass deals on just about every part aside from the plugs, wires, and oil pump. Its funny you mention the plate because I was planning on getting IM STOC but I did consider FN QUIK as well. As for the headers why do you have to make money you already bought them lol. I plan on buying this coating from an airplane part manufacture for $30 and giving it a try since jet-hot charges around $250 and so does a shop down the street so we'll see how that goes.

5.3 heads=BIG COMPRESSION!!! that with your cam and intake/exhaust should easily be over 400 at the wheels with a good tune!!!

Matt you have no idea how good that makes me feel since I'm shooting for 400 at the rear but its just been high hopes so far as I seem to be the only one with these heads. Now I just have to learn how to use my HP Tuners lol.

well with my stock heads...and my Thunder racing cam (all my bolt ons too) i was at 395 at the wheels. when i put my heads on i was hoping to be well over 400...what a **** smack in the face that turned out to be lol.... cause i got the 2.055 intake and 1.60 exhaust valves...there was a lot of the chamber ground out for clearance. so i lost compression. also i used the GM multi-layer steel head gaskets..those lost me some compression too....so i ended up losing 5 hp at the wheels when my patriot heads went on!!! SHITT...however i will have to say, i picked up a crap load of low end power and torque, so when you stomp on it... i did feel a huge difference. i just have to shift a lil earlier now lol. not that i drag my car to 6,850 rpm like they did on the dyno often anyways!

Well ETP says I should be around 10.8-1 on compression, am I going to be ok using the GM gaskets or should I look elsewhere?

Wow Jeff, even from someone that's all show and no go, that's still quite an impressive collection you got there.

Yeah for a while it was like I expected parts almost daily and would in turn bring them to work just about every day. Its pretty crazy that I'm actually getting all the stuff on my to-do list but now I'm pretty broke lol and I still need gaskets and fluids for the install.
