    Hypertech Programmer

    I have a Hypertech Power Programmer III for my 94 LT1...

    I have someone who wants to buy it, but has a question about it that I cannot find a definete answer for.

    Will this programmer read engine codes (SES light)?

    My car has never thrown a light so I do not know if it will or not and do not have instructions for the unit

    Download the instructions from Hypertech's site. The one I have is supposed to read codes but I've never hooked it up when I've had a code because I have a seperate code scanner I picked up for $30.

      Yeah, get the manual, I think it can but I never had to use mine for codes when I had the 99.

        I looked over the Hypertech site...and didn't find any definete answers...
