Is there anyone in between flint and cadillac that would be willing to help install fuel injectors onto a LS1 trans am if I buy them. I'll order some pizza and pop or beer if you want. The shop that we brought the car to said it was a $1000 job. I found fuel injectors for $300 at the first site I found. I'm sure a few of you have done this before. We can bring the car somewhere else to do this to. Thanks!!

Its a decently simple job.. dont know how in the world they could quote $1000 bucks.. that just means they dont want to do it.
im sure you could probably figure it out yourself.

there's like 4 8mm bolts that hold the fuel rail(s) onto the intake...take those out, and a light tug and the rail will pop right off, then you can just take the old injectors out, and the new ones pop right in with a lil grease.

Factory Injectors work fine unless its gotta cam n head swap or a power adder... not sure why you would waste the money on something that wont make you any extra power...-08 G8 GT DD: Rotofab CAI, HID's, Breyton Race GTS'
