  • Interesting poll results... and a poll!!! (4th gens)

    LT1 vs LS1 Camaro looks

Found this poll on camaroz28.com and thought the results were interesting. Camaroz28.com is open to all year fbodies, but is also admittedly the place where most of the LT1 guys hang out. poll results are:

and now the same poll at LS1tech where the vast majority own LS1s:

curious what the consensus is here.

I votes LS1, but the caveat there is a 96/97 SS...I love those cars.

I hated the LS1 front end when it came out, it has grown on me but I still like the LT1 front better because of the direct connection to the front of a 3rd gen which is the best ever...

I like the LS-1.. PArtially because Im biased since I own one but also I like the curves rather than the front end on the LT-1s.

Like James, it took me a while to warm up to the '98 and newer Camaro front ends. I've always thought the '96-97 SS front end design was the best of the 4th Gens. With our '96 lowered, it's just about perfect (to me, anyway)

But, the '02 Hot Rod is the most fun to drive. It's hard not to drive that one all the time.
