Probably the politest Thread Jacking I have ever been involved in.

CS3 - Great Price, for the header I was going to ask you about. You sure know how to get someone's attention.

What can you do for a Felpro Gasket, # FEL-OS34510T

Do you do any front disk brake kits for the First Gens?? I am just looking for 11" drum to disk conversion, with brake lines.

Just looked at your website. Of course, you carry the Covan's Instrument cluster that I have been looking at for years!! Any chance of putting together a Magnaflow exhaust kit?? I am not a fan of the flowmaster's. It would need to finish in the stock position, dumping down after the axle, behind the tires.

        Thanks!!!

I just listed a stainless Magnaflow #15899 for the weekend - $90.00 off
          (95lbs billable weight )
I can get #15896, but its out of stock. #15895 is a special order item.

The fel-pro gasket I will sell to you for basicaly my cost (27.99) with the purchase of the headers, or exhaust or both.

          https://www.cs3automotive.com/catego...?categoryId=44

I will look for a brake system over the weekend. I can get Baer and SBBC sytems. Have you ever looked at doing a C5 converson for the front brakes?

Does your car have power brakes?

Take a look at these systems. Do you like the standard kit?

I currently have manual brakes on the car. The problem with the SSBC and Baer kits is price. I can find a kit for around $5-600 on ebay, that uses stock parts, so I can use stock replacement parts from the local auto parts store.

I have thought about doing the C5 conversion, but I am looking for someone to provide the complete kit. I am lazy and I know nothing about brake systems or what I might be missing or looking for.

Is the Magnaflow set-up stock like, with the transverse single muffler?? I will probably just order (2) Magnaflow Oval mufflers and run a custom set-up with an H-pipe. I like the stock exit, behind the tires (over the suspension). I will let you know the model of the mufflers I want to see what kind of pricing you can get me. I have access to stainless tubing, so I really just need to pick a muffler set and order it and have a local guy do the bending.

For now, count me in on the headers and the oil pan gasket. I will be ordering them later today.

              Pleasure doin' bidness........

Order placed. I will see those Monday, right!!!!

Thanks for the help!! If I were to say right now, I would probably be looking at the following Magnaflow Mufflers (qty 2):

12256 5"x8" Oval Offset / Center Satin Stainless
                13216 4"x9" Oval XL Offset / Center

But, I am not quite sure which I want to use and which will fit / sound the best.

You might! There going out today.
                  Thanks for the business.
Yes the Magnaflow I put on my site has a tranverse single muffler, says it has exit options. Its a tight fit under the car for 2 mufflers, I have flowmaster dual chambers under mine, and they rattle from hitting the floorpan.

Here is a link for a place that sells C5 kits.
                  http://www.touring-classics.com/C5%20kit.htm

I could sell the SSBC #123 for about $749 + shipping (maybe a little cheaper)
Looks like its a complete kit that comes with spindles, rotors, calipers, master cylender, etc...

I will look into those mufflers over the weekend.
Again, thank you for the order.

HEE HEE. Emissions. If you mean getting the hot gases out of my engine via a steel pipe to the back of the car so it don't stink up the interior, you are correct. Thank god for zero emissions regulations on a First Gen Camaro!!!

I'll take some pictures of them and them on the engine hanging on the hoist next weekend and post them up here. They look sweet. They are heavy. Makes me think the old ones were tin. They must have rusted out the insides pretty bad, as light as they were.
