I was at a car show yesterday and told a few about ripping my top.I had 1 guy tell me on the convertibles the seam in the well, on the top of the inner and outer wheelwells is hammered down flat, and it is not done nicely. This made sence to me because it would prevent the top from hitting the edge and ripping when folded but before I get a sledge hammer out I want to check. So If you own a 67 or 68 can you look in the trunk in the front of the wheelwell on the top and see if the seam is hammered flat where the top would lie?? It will probably be eaiser with the top up so you can get a better view..Thanks
