Having problem installing the interior door panel on 1968 Firebird convertilbe with Deluxe interior. I can't get the top of the door panel to stay in place without popping off the support brackets.

Thanks. I thought I had it figured out, but my door pull handles weren't on tight, and when I tightened it up, it popped up again. This is only on the drivers side, the passenger side seems to be fine. Although the passenger side had the 2 window guides, but it also had another bracket on front of window which the door panel went over. The driver's side did not had this other bracket, but am wondering if the driver's side came froma 67 and with the vent window, it wouldn't have had a bracket? Driver's door was replaced 30 years ago, and he can't remember if it came froma 67 or 68 Firebird.Comment
