Over the winter, I bought some new headers from CS3 and they do not line up with my old exhaust. Good reason to upgrade exhaust.
Right now I am running long tube headers, into 3 inch exhaust pipes. they run straight to the back, over the axle, and into a stock type transverse muffler, and then dump behind the rear wheels, in stock type position.
Poll Options:
1) Leave as is, and just fix attachment to new header outlet location (a few inches or more)
2) Replace pipe and muffler with new transverse muffler.
3) Replace pipe and muffler with dual mufflers in front of the axle, same outlet location.
4) Replace pipe and muffler with X-Pipe / H-Pipe and dual mufflers in front of the axle, same outlet location.
The only thing I am worried about with options 3 & 4 is ground clearance. There ain't a whole lot under the car. Suggestions on brand of dual mufflers to install??
With Option #4, I don't think I would be able to drop tranny with an x / h pipe underneath. Does anyone have any other solutions??
Thanks for your opinions and suggestions!!!
