Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
there's a guy that lives in montague with the green camaro can't think of his name
Actually, I live in Muskegon. But I'm from Whitehall.

Yup, blasphemous, isn't it? Still, it looks good with the Ivy Gold interior.
As for winter projects, I didn't get anything done. Commuting to school and taking care of the baby sucked up all my free time and money. Also, my father had hand surgery and we couldn't get the heat hooked up in the barn as a result. Sadly, I doubt I'll be able to drive the Camaro but once or twice this summer. Next summer, however, should be a different story as I'll have passed the bar and should have a job somewhere.
I have to take the long view or I'd be depressed all the time.

When is the Meet and Greet this year - and where? With any luck I'll be in Dayton, Ohio this summer. But probably without the Camaro.

If you hadn't of told me, I'd have guessed Verdoro Green...
Nice looking color.

I think it is because I take it in and out all the time, the rubber has just stretched out, especially at the bottom where it is really thin. It annoys me more then anything.

Thanks. Is Verdoro Green an original '68 color? I was going for that look when I picked out the Green Glow Metallic, but my color resources only went back to 1973 or so and I didn't yet have the internet. I just picked what I thought looked late sixties and went with the Ivy Gold. I almost picked a gold color, but I'm glad I didn't since golds got really big in the street rod scene shortly thereafter.
A surprising number of people really hate the color of my car and tell me I should have painted it orange and dyed the interior black. That's just not me, though, especially since you rarely see gold interiors. Seems like nobody's neutral on a green car, though.
I can't wait to hear what comments I get with steelies and poverty caps.

Cool. I too like the rarer colors. If I'd had a black interior I probably would have gone with Corvette Bronze Metallic. That's a gorgeous color. There was another First Gen ragtop running around here in that color, but I don't recall seeing it at all last summer. It's been said before, but mine's an original code TT - Palomino Ivory.
