Reading the owners manual they did not work well from the factory!
It states to open them manually if they fail to open.

Are you sure both actuators are bad? I found that repop headlight switches and the vacuum relay valves, suck! (Pun intended) My experience was alot of them leak internally and therefore, don't work well. I went through 3 repop switches and ended of restoring the original one. Do the doors work if you connect them directly to a stable vacuum source? You may also be surprized at the difference in you car performance, once all the unknown leaks are fixed.

When I bought my car it didn't have the motors for the doors so when I painted the car I decided to change the front end. I'm still working on designs for the front so mine will not have doors. I didn't want to buy the motors due to the fact that I wasn't planning on keeping em on,why waste the $$$. My RS will always be alittle different than everybody elses.

The first Gen started it all!!!
