any news on B4C 2009 yet?

no no one has any more news on what will come out then anyone else as of right now

Honestly, from what I heard before (was it Will that was talking about this?) there more than likely won't be a B4C Camaro because the B4C's that some of the main people ordered (California Highway Patrol) hated the 4th gen ones cause they kept braking down and had a lot of issues. Something like that, can't remember the exact thread or information, but it was pretty information.

I think thats a minor point.. we need more info on the regular versions first.. and i dont think they will make a police version the first year.

most police departments will want proof of a durable long lasting version before they will buy into it... same goes for every cruiser... and it would have to serve a purpose that a current car cant provide now... i wouldnt think to see one till atleast 2011 and even then they will be rare... depends how much GM pushes it to the departments...

I haven't heard anything about '09 B4Cs or if there will even be a B4C for the new Camaro. With the way the police car market is, I don't really think a B4C Camaro would make the business case. The SSP Mustang and B4C Camaro exist because of the lack of performance of police sedans back in the 80s and 90s. With the increased peformance of today's 4 door sedan (such as Dodge's Hemi Charger and GM's new rear wheel drive platform), a B4C would be hard to justify, especially B4C's lack of ability to transport prisoner.
