5th Gen Commercial Ideas?

I saw this on LS1tech and thought this would be an interesting topic...

My idea:

How about you see a 1st gen mustang at a light. 1st gen Camaro pulls up from drivers left. Mustang Revs motor. Camaro driver rolls his eyes or does something else cool. Then both cars take off in a cloud of smoke. Black out...

Repeat scene with 5th gen mustang and 5th gen camaro. Drivers may be young or old. If they kept the drivers from the first scene then they coudl say something like. "The new Camaro, New car, same attitude.

or they could so it with young guys and say "Camaro A new car for a new generation"

Prices and details...

how about a 5 second clip of a light turning green and the car pulling a holeshot. Maybe ONE catchline. very very short and to the point. theres a whole thread full of ideas like these on camaroz28.com

its obvious all you 5th gen Camaro lovers are scared to death of the Challenger, or else why not include it. Could it be that everyone knows the Camaro is gonna get skunked.

Actually I did not even think of it! Maybe I just don't pay attention to MOPAR. Or maybe its that MOPAR has never been able to catch a Camaro to scare us...

Seriously, when you think of Auto rivalries few are as well known or as old as the Chevy vs. Ford / Camaro vs. Mustang. Hell think about it, when was the last time you thought of a Pontiac vs Ford Rivalry???

I would like to see something like a 69Z with a 45 year old male and his wife messing around in town, then have him come up to a stop light, and then a 5 gen z28 pulls up, and the driver being his son *make it real obvious that its his kid* and then cut to some crazy camera that goes over top of the cars as they burn out. Then go to a shot that has prices and such. There has to be a catch tag line. I personally like the " Here then, Here now. Chevrolet."

another one to add is have a older dude in his 40's with the early 69 pull up to a light then a 18 year old kid pull up with the music bashing in the 09, then the 69 cam starts to roar the motor over taking the sound of the new maro and then both of the cars racingwhen light turns green as they stay neck and neck to the next light, then both "smile " on the next red
