I really hope the "SS" part isnt true. GM doesnt need any more confusion with nameplates

Are you talking about the concept? Or an actual rendering?Originally posted by meissenA few GM insiders spit their coffee out when they saw this concept, apparently it hit too close to home.

I just had a wild idea. What would you guys think about the new firebird based off of this design...
http://www.carphotoalbums.com/photos...ept-FA-med.jpg
I mean they so could have saved the GTO with it but they didn't. They already have the design ideas plus I could see them using the Zeta Platform for its base! Its the Camaro with a few design twists! I think it would be awesome. When I first saw this design I was really psyched but then they came out with that tame GTO design.
Can you see the similiarities / Possibilities?

Look at them side to side. They have the same cabin shapes, hips, stance, pointed front end, large black grille. A lot of similiarities.Last edited by phoenix_rising; March 12th, 2006, 02:11 PM.

problem was its wasnt a GTO design it was an already made holden car... all they did was change a few lines and toss GTO on the front... i dont know about that one though i think its a little to mucm minus the crome stripes down the side adn make the body lines a little sharper not as rounded off eurp style and it would be ok...Originally posted by Frank The TankTook the restrictor plate off to give the Red Dragon a little more juice. But it's not exactly street legal, so keep it on the down low.

Yeah I agree. Either way it would be cool to see this thing in production!
This was kind of interesting... http://www.jalopnik.com/cars/2010/index.php
Sweet ass car. I dont like the rear on the concept GTO though. And the front end could use some work but who knows eh?
Shouldn't you be at Woodward???

I found the old drawing. Apparently I saved it to my harddrive. When I was going through and transfering files from the harddrive to my backup drive, I found it. Here's the original picture...Attached Files- Brian Meissen

damn. Yeah, the more I looked at that picture the more I think that's the drawing that people refer to as "Crispies" or something like that, I don't remember... it's a common one that was around on Cz28 that people said insiders at GM said it was closest to the real thing back when it was like Kris H's and Crispie's and a couple others. But you're right, now that you mention it, I think it was red too. Ah well, this one is still pretty damn close! haha.- Brian Meissen
