  • Camaro Concept Vehicle News...

The concept, and only the concept not the production model, is said to be on the stretched Kappa. It's safe to say that that's not a final production decision, as it's probably just the donor chasis for the concept vehicle. In any case, they're naming 2009 as the relase date (What I've been saying all along )

My friends dad works at GM and says that latly there has been rumor that they have a Camaro concept there right now. He said these guys came in with a trailer that has security guards around it 24-7 and the building its located in only allows like 5 people in and out of it. Made me excited but hey could be anything.

I would think something along these lines wouldn't be surprising. After all the leaks GM has had lately, they are NOT sacrificing anything. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the Camaro concept; we know for a fact without a doubt it will be there (Why else would Scott Settlemire, the FBodFather, get 250 tickets for NAIAS and do a "lottery" of all the top Camaro enthusiasts to get pre-public viewing if it wasn't a Camaro?) Very exciting indeed, I can hardly wait!

thats an unfortunate negative. firebird is dead, GM currently is not even considering bringing the name back.

i didnt think so, i dont think gm made mutch money off of them, i know they made a lot more off of the camaro. the reason i say this is because if you look around ya dont see many of them and when you do most of the time its a woman. (no affence to firebird owners)

The other car that GM plans to reveal at the NAIAS if I'm reading into certain insider hints correctly will be the Bell Air.

Nevermind. FBodFather said it's not. There goes AutoWeek's credibility.
