    New addition to the Zeta platform...

    Got word yesterday that volumes have been increased on the Zeta (Camaro) platform for addition of a new vehicle.

    Naturally, this piqued my curiosity. What could it be? GTO? Firebird? The under-the-radar Buick concept that's being considered?

    I was even more curious when I learned 90% of the components are carryover, so it must be Camaro underpinnings they're using.

    After some poking around, I learned the new vehicle IS....

      Update #2...hot off the press...

      I won't tease you this time......a lot of people have been expecting this one.

      Additionally, the GMX-551 will be built off the Zeta platform, as a 2010/11 program.

      The Chevrolet Impala.

        Seriously! Where is the Pontiac? It seems like GM os trying to work with what they've got right now with the G-series (G6, G8, etc.)

                        i had heard that the grand prix is gonna be partnered with the camaro. they are redisigning it on rwd platform. at least thats what i heard. not sure how accurate it is.

                            With GM's track record Zeta will be killed by 2010 in favor of producing more trucks and SUV's.
