I thinks it's pretty cool, but i bet pontiac is going to want it to look much different from the new camaro, that almost looks like a camaro body with pontiac badging. I would hope that they would put some more design into it to make it stand out from the camaro. But that's just me, It's not a bad thing to look like the new camaro, because that thing is sweet, but in my opinion they should switch up the front end and maybe the tailights to set it apart. Either way i hope they build it!!!! Gotta get the Bird back too!!!

      New update...

The start of production for the Camaro is Febuary of 2009 as a model year 2010 vehicle, although GM MAY be trying to pull that up a few months.

I've heard no updates on even IF a GTO is in the works for 09. Might be a '10.

The spies down in Austrailia have not seen a GTO or a Impala or the "mystery" fourth Zeta released vehicle as of yet.

One guy speculated on the fourth variation being a Buick (!?!?!) as the Buick version of the Epsilon platform is slated to be something between a Solstice and a Vette. Very premature. Just to be taken as "what if" information, and not reliable.

I saw initiial CAD data of the Buick Epsilon vehicle today though....extremely intriguing...

Isn't the grand prix suppose to be included in the epsilon program, for rear wheel drive, and a 330 horse v8. I thought i read about it in car and driver.

I wouldn't trust anything you read in a magazine. Honestly, 90% of the time they're blatantly wrong by the time it's published. Keep in mind, they get word of rumors and it takes them a good 6 months to actually put an article out. Just like most major magazines publishing articles saying the Camaro was cancelled because they weren't going to build Zeta, while at the same time the Camaro concept pictures were floating around.

I love TAC, I've been a member there for a while and the people I've met along the way are nice. I picked up my subframe from a guy on there from Indiana for 50 bucks in great condition.

as much as i love the trans am i dont know if id like to see a new one on the roads everyday. its more of an exotic out of production, wouldn't care to see some gangsta gmoney rolling on 22''s next to me on the freeway; who bought if for no other reason than because its brand new and the 'im cool now too' idea.

Pontiac will be coming out with the all new redesigned GTO in 2010. There will not be a Firebird again. And of course, it will have a retro look, just on the same platform as the GTO that has been out for a few years and in Australia.

Oh don't worry There will be a new bird. It is just a matter of time before GM wakes up and smells the coffee!

Trust me, if someone wants my money. They will do what I want. If they don't do what I want they don't get my money. Simple! GM = Wanting my money

P.S. I also read that the goat was dead recently, and that Pontiac would be picking up a new zeta platform car, the G8 or the like. But the only G's that matter are the G's I'm saving up for my new WS6!

No offense meant, but if it was in a magazine, chances are it's wrong. Their "Breaking News!" is 6 months old by the time they get the column writen, approved, sent to the publisher, printed out in the magazines, and shipped to their subscribers. Trust the website news sources, it only takes them the time to write it and paste it on their site.
