ya they need a different look for the bird if they ever bring it back... thats half the reason why the two died in the first place to many versions of the bird and maro and they looked alike as it was that its tough to pick between the two.. not one solid market for either cars.. although i think they should ditch the GTO name for a while longer they disgraced that enough with a re badged holden... give us time to forget after they are done selling what they have in stock now...

I doubt that the bird will be coming back anytime soon, But that G8 is really nice I would buy one.

More wishful photoshopping. That site is misleading since it has NO ties with GM at all and it's just more internet BS that has no real basis for the stuff they post. They list the next G6 as being FWD but it has been announced that Pontiac will be phasing out FWD and build only RWD platforms in the future. It's about damn time RWD came back to GM cars!

however. I did hear a rumor that GM recently repurchased the rights to the firebird nameplate.

Yep, they did renew the rights to the Firebird and kept the GTO active.

I do like the idea of them possibly coming back out with the Bird & TA's, but that concept on that page looks way to much like the Camaro, they can keep it on the Camaro Chasis but they definitley need to change the body style so they don't look so much alike, i don't like the new GTO and i never liked the one's they just stoped making

i dont like the new camaro that they have drawn up, let alone the new camro with a little bit more stuff added to it. i agree with what was posted earlier. if theyre gonna bring back those cars looking like that, then they should just not produce them at all.

Well, as much as I've *****ed about the new camaro, I actually think the firebird photochop wasn't to bad.

That GTO I would drive, I think that looked pretty sweet!!

The G8 & G6 are just more lame grand am & grand prix knock offs. Not that I ever thought much of either of those cars either.

the whole idea of what they call the new camaro just hurts my heart. it really bothers me that they want to put in that new environmentally friendly engine when you dont 'need' the extra power. the purpose of obtaining a camaro/firebird is because you need the power all the time.
