Ah darn - MTR had a coupon in the group of door prizes at CSF and I didn't grab it since I didn't have a 5th gen so I grabbed a banner.

I ordered a set . Got the camaro super fest price.
Hope they sound good. I do not want to do any major mods until the warranty is up or the car is paid for.

      (So I say now)

I should have stuck with corsa or even flow master. The MRT do sound better at idle and a little louder under full power.
BUT I get a drone at 2,000 rpm in 4th,5 &6th gear . Or when lugging engine.
As far as me complaining to MRT they said live with it. NO REFUND OR FIX ! ( All have drone.)
They are not standing behind their product. I even ask about popping and droning several times before install.
Looks like most axle back drone some what? My Friends like them. As far as the popping on deceleration they are not bad and that does sound good.

? Would insulating the truck more help? I have a thick rubber OEM mat on floor now.

Insulating will help to an extent - but it's the frequency of the drone that has the potential to still penetrate into the cabin (kind of like Bass)

Sorry to hear you're disappointed with them, though. My only advice would be to pick up another system and sell this one.

This is what I got. (not real insulation more of a sound deadener)

Yeah, sound deadener is what you want. Fat mat is supposed to be very good stuff, cheaper than Dynamat.

I called MRT today 3 times and ask to talk to the boss about my drone . He will not return my call. Yes I have been nice up to this point.

Be carfull if you deal with these guys. Stay away.

                  Hope the fat mat works.

Drone is definitely something you'll want to research next time - obviously companies won't say their stuff drones - but ask consumers who have said exhaust products - and see what their reaction is.

Unless they have a no-drone guarantee, I'm not sure what you're calling for...
