      Gm will do something.

But I'm not to worried that my 5th gen is bit slower than the 2011 mustang gt. Gives you something to do in the performance aftermarket. And that is really the fun part of the rivalry.

New wheels and a slightly revised interior will not cut it.

Lose some weight and figure out a way to see out of it.

I cant afford either, so it doesnt really matter to me. lol

          Camaro is faster here.

And I may be wrong but simple bolt ons should be a plus for the SS

Personally I think people are too worried about it. If people are that worried about rip out all the creature comforts. Sit on some milk crates. Stroke the motor out to 416 ci and then either juice it or run boost. Now you don't have to worry about a stock GT anymore...

Personally I'm glad both Ford and Gm are making awesome cars. We need them too. It's no fun watching our local automakers keep releasing shit vehicles.

its not an issue of quarter mile. nate is spot on along with the fact that mustang offers some VERY nice equipment on its V6 model.

mustang is winning in the creature comfort department and it is still lighter. its the platform that is the issue not the features.

You realized this is a F-body fourm.
Trouble maker. But the Stang sure looks like a nice car.
                    Hmm, from my back mirror.

I know but the 5th gen ranks right up there with the Honda Civic and genital warts to me.

Dont get me wrong, both cars drive very nice and anyone that has either should be very proud.

Having driven both a 2010 Mustang and a 2010 Camaro, I prefer the Mustang.

Camaro is selling SS models, Mustang is selling V6 cars. Only difference is that the GT is actually fast this year.

That's how I feel about the 2010/2011 Mustang's rear end. Still looks like it shit its pants.

Rest of the car looks great.

I don't mind one way or the other which is faster. I think they are both great cars. I enjoy my 5th gen. I hope the people that bought their mustangs enjoy them. If I could afford it I'd get all 3 pony cars. Would be nice too since the Mustang and Camaro would keep me busy while waiting on all the little things to be fixed on the challenger. Sorry if that made anyone with a new mopar upset. But my 300c always has something in need of fixing so....... And I can't wait to turn that lease in.

I think Ford did a great job on the '11 GT. But I also really like the 5th gen as well.
