To me the only big differences are leather vs cloth, the usb/ipod support, and the 4 pack of gauges.

The gauges can be added later, as can the seats if your into that.

Are you going to be making a payment or paying it off with your 68 money? the extra 3k is going to be like 18 bucks a month extra.

I like leather so that alone puts me to the 2SS. I would gladly rock a 1SS RS though. Got to have the hood stripes though, no hockey stripe

1SS package works just fine if you want cloth seats. The LS3 M6 is the way to go, add some american racing headers, Roto-fab CAI and a supercharger and you will have so much fun that you will not care if its a 1SS or 2SS.

Get a 2SS. The 4pack gauges are cool, seldomly used, but cool! Also I would highly recommend the RS package. I love the Halos. What color are you going to get? Pending the color I would suggest the gray interior... everyone gets black, and the gray is a two-tone.

My 1SS Came with the Premium Sound option. Just didn't have the Bluetooth of the 2SS. So you can find the 1SS with the nicer audio system.

You can get the polished wheels and stripes if you want. Though I wasn't Worried about the wheels since I was going to get a pair of reproduction factory knock offs that are black. And put the originals away.

Just sit back and wait a little do some searching at the dealer's websites see what the cars have for options. It's what I did found what I was looking for a price I thought was ballooned with mark up. And Got lucky that the dealership was close.

I hear that. I'm Happy if it has XMSirius Lithium 24 and FM for The Wrif. Which it gladly does.

? I found a dark blue SS2 I like . Would have to add white stripes. It has the polished aluminum wheels that I like. 6 speed. They do not budge off sticker. I do get a GM suppler discount. (about $1000 off)

Search dealers farther away. I drove all the way to PA for mine because it was EVERYTHING I wanted. I didn't settle for anything on the car. The salesman even knew in advance I was coming from MI and they dropped over $1000 off the car. More than paid for my gas money to drive out there.
