Exactly what I was thinking. Looking back, I'm glad I drove my own car to all those dances. Just another great memory of me and my car to look back on.Nick H.

for the responsibility factor it all depends on the kid, I drove mine to prom and an ls1 pulled up next to me at a red light. He went for it...I did not. It is great to have the memories in your own car.
unless you know someone with a 5th gen well enough to vouch for your responsibility, your best bet is giving your parents some money to rent you one.Last edited by white96TA; March 7th, 2010, 12:50 PM.

Don't be that guy. I always hated the fools who thought they were sweet because they got their aunts mustang or daddys camaro for the day, then they go around acting like they are awesome and driving like morons. High school is a complete joke, nobody cares what you brought to prom after the night is over.. Besides, even if your intentions are good, I don't know of a single person that would loan their car to some highschooler, let alone prom night when most kids act like morons. (and this is coming from a guy who drove his firebird to every school dance).-Derek-
