What makes the Gearhead Performance Group Trans Am different from other Camaro/Trans Am conversions like the Bandit and Lingenfelter concept? It'll supposedly come with a 900 HP twin-turbo LS9. Nice.


Sadly, there's no other details other than the as-of-now-still-fictional power claim, the rendered body kit and the 22" snowflake wheels. Oh and the "gold interior accents" which we take to indicate the presence of cocaine and an ill-fated career in professional sports. [Gearhead Performance Group]

If the spoiler was a bit smaller I think it would be better but other than that I like it

So, is it gonna be a Dry-Sump TT LS3 essentially... or a LS9 TT which would be twin charged?


Same as all the other conversions, you can tell its a camaro, and i would feel stupid driving one... "Make and Model?" "...Chevy Camaro" "Umm... Looks like a firebird..." \\

Like that they are trying but I have a 4th gen and can't seem to get respect from the older car guys (like real musclecars were built in 60's and Pontiac hadn't built engine since early 80's)always seem to be looked down on because of to new.I can just see what everyone would be saying,maybe since made from camaro should it be called a "CAM AM".Hope GM catches up just seen ford has 2011 cobra jet that will run in the 8 second class.

Until someone creates a completely different body for one, it wont look right.

3rd and 4th gen fbodes shared a platform and motors, not interiors, doors, quarter panels. A camaro is very distinct form a firebird.

Its not ment to be street legal. Its simply a factory race car. Shows the the platform is capable of.
