Well, I guess now we know which law enforcement departments have either 1) not had their budgets cut, or 2) have found a way generate revenue to replace the cuts to their budget!

Between these pursuit Camaros and the new specific Caprice cop cars, there's going to be a lot more interest in future police vehicle auctions!

Im sure they get those cars dirt cheap seeing how its a govt used vehicle....the charger r/t's gotta be pretty close to the price of the new camaros nad lots of dept's got those.

yeah, they don't pay much for them.
I think all the auburn hills chargers are pretty much DCX test cars.

It looks like that police camaro has the $4,000 21" wheel option????
I must say the graphics make it look terrible.

the real camaro cop car (hopefully b4c) will have some ugly ass sturdy rims, probably 18's as well as a slew of other beefed up parts. alternator, powerstearing, battery, no sunroof...you know.

If they do produce a cop-specific Camaro, I'd be surprised if they didn't use the LS black steelie rims.

I could try nosing around at work to see if I can spot option B4C or another law enforcement designated option in the list of options, but I've been so busy since the last round of layoffs that I haven't had time for such things. Plus, I don't want to do anything to give them an excuse to get rid of one more head!

Wonder if they have the LS3 or the V6. Guess they don't make 21" steelies!

That is an SS (so LS3 or L99) Also yes, those are the $4k 21" wheels.

This story has been blown up more then it should have been. A member on there snapped that picture of ONE camaro he saw. It has been suggested that it was seized in a drug bust or some other such felony.
