One of the salesmen and I were talking about HID's and Halos for the 5th gen and I was woundering if there is a kit that would have both the HIDs and halos aftermarket?

I thought the projectors were HID......even still, it's an easy swap for HID's in the projector if they are not.

Projectors are not necessarily HID's. Follow some wires and see if you find a ballast.

The RS has the halo and HID projectors as part of the package. Otherwise the lights are just standard halogen lights. No halo, no projector, no HID. My wife's G8 has projector lights but are not HID. I need to remedy that soon though.

if we can find a good deal on some halo headlights or hid as a group i will more than likely be down for that. i like the look of both. i seen a headlight with two halos as the parking light and then the outside light lit up in the middle of the halo but it didnt look right with a bright white halo with a "yellow" headlight on the outside shining at you. if it was a bright white headlight on the outside and a halo on the inside it would be sweet!! i heard gibralter trade center has hid's for a decent price, but i dont live near one plus i dunno bout those places...seems shady.

I have a friend that works in a custom shop, and he said it's cheaper to buy them separate than it is to buy a whole kit.

Yeah, I've been tossing around the idea of projectors for my Cobalt to go with the HIDs, but it's not something I really need...
