Yeah, dealer option. Should have been available when you order the vehicle. If your dad's interested in it, have him call the dealership and find out - might be able to get it still.

mk cool. i feel better cause thats what he ordered and i was hoping it wasnt like a silver. no another question. haha. he ordered silver stripes (2 down the hood) will they match the GFX he also ordered or will the GFX be painted body color? im just so confused. haha. and the dealer didnt have any pictures or specifics of anything when he ordered. haha. add that to the mistakes GM has made.

overall I like it but here are my specific observations:

1) I like that the grille DOES NOT have a bowtie in the middle. Also that it is recessed deeper, or at least appears to be. I do not like that it looks like a snout due to the narrowness of "double headlights" where one is a fake hideaway.

That is an optional accessory grille. The standard grille is the same for the V6 as for the V8. The V6 also does not get the "mail slot" scoop on the top of the fascia.

Only pictures I've ever seen of the ground effects show them as coming black, not body color.

I really don't understand why they wouldn't paint the ground effects...with the style they are, they just don't go with the whole "two tone" theme, like on, say, a third gen that had the different colored GFX...
