Im still wondering what kind of numbers I would be able to get out of one.

reason being is my 99 is rated at 19/30 but my average at the end of the summer was 26.5 MPG all city. and i think the cat was even clogged half the time. I drove it slow at first but it didnt seem to make any difference. I got 34 on the highway with it once too.

Not to mention I pulled 33 with the Z28 on a lucky 180 mile trip.

Looking forward to more realistic reviews.

You have to understand that they don't drive the way you do...they have the A/C on...they have specific shift points and acceleration to replicate how "most" of the population drives...

You put one in neutral going down hills, and yeah, you can pull 40 mpg off one...but it's not an apples to apples comparison...

For a 4000 pound brick...I guess so but for a modern day sports car with loads of modern day technology available...it saddens me.

I think its my perception that is the problem, I see Camaro and think Corvette. Silly o'l nate.

Well, I think it's AWESOME mileage.

It is rated at nearly what my COBALT is rated at, which is 21/29 with an auto.

I'm surprised the auto gets better mileage than the manual in both situations...

                    Seems low to me

Why is the 6.2 manual number lower than the auto?

Ya those seem low to me. I got close to 25 in my 305 TBI with the ttops off and windows all the way down on the highway.

                        Higher gear ratio?
