With the tall body lines of newer cars, the "big ass wheels" are the only thing that looks normal.

The wheel wells are HUGE! The 16s on my Camaro would look alot smaller than they do on my car if they were on the 5th gen.

Sounded good starting up but I couldn't hear it after that. It would have been nice if they would have played with the gas a little.

Am I the only one that absolutely hates the "1LT" "2LT" "1SS" options. Freaking ridiculous -- just give us the base, Z28, SS, and RS option.

They mentioned something about them swapping PCMs so they couldn't go too hard on it or something...

                        I would have also.

I don't like the LT labeling either - The old Camaro LT was not a base model.

I dont see what it matters on the V6 model, its not like they are badged that way. We never saw a Y87 badge for 4th gen sixers

there isnt a Z28 so why would they use that badge?

Are you sure they're not going to badge the 1LT and 2LT with a badge that says that? I haven't heard either way, but I'm positive that Chevy's current vehicles that have that ridiculous naming scheme are named by that alone "Oh it's a Malibu 2LT" I've even seen ads where they go "Malibu LT+2LT" or some weird crap like that. I just don't like that naming scheme at all, I guess.

Likewise, I would think it's just as important being that it's on the v6 model considering in our day and age and with the way gas prices are the v6 model will be the one that sells the most and will be what helps keep the Camaro alive. There's only so many enthusiasts to purchase the v8 models, and even a large handful of current Z28 and SS 4th gen owners I've heard say they'd be perfectly happy getting the v6 considering the amount of HP and mpg.

And for the v8 owners, you're a 1SS owner? I only saw the one engine as an option, does that mean they're coming out with a 2SS?

No, it won't, Brian. My Cobalt is an 1LT, and it just says LT.

It will just say "LT" or "SS".
