              Circled the differences.

Mail slot scoop (non-functional, though, purely cosmetic)
              Cheek bones
Larger opening in the lower grill
              More dramatic lower edge

              Overall, just more aggressive.

Is it just me or is this thing starting to look dated already.

If the mailslot scoop is not functional then why even have it.
I mean the Ram Air hood on a LS1 WS6 isn't really functional either but at least it enhances the appearance of the car.

                  Ok I'm done

I believe that car is a base SS, not an RS/SS. The RS/SS would have the halo headlights, too.

Wasn't that scoop supposed to be functional?

                        I recall that...

Maybe supposed to be, but the latch for the hood is directly behind the mailslot, no way could it be functional. It's just like the Z06, from what I've heard about their scoops it's not functional either and the only person who made it functional was Jay Leno in his C6R.

Eh, I'm not trusting any of these things anymore...every one of 'em seems cobbled together in some fashion, and not truly a complete car.

I'll reserve final judgement until the Auto Show...that should be a complete represenative car at that point.
