While looking for the vid, I found this read, there's a possible Turbocharged 4 cylinder in the making.

Leftlanenews is expecting to see the new Camaro's out in late December/early January and the rag tops around December of "09" (this is very possible as I mentioned, the checking fixture was completed in April 08 that my plant built and panels are being stamped)

if they make a z28 its eather gunna be a supercharged v8 probaly a version of the ls9. or a small v8 with suspesion upgrades. the latter would be more up to par with the 1st gen but i wouldent want eather. the supercharged would be to expensive and the small v8 wouldent be enough. the only way i would get a z28 would be if it had a ls3 and more suspension upgrades

Hate to tell you, but with the new 5-star crash rules that came out last week, the number of airbags required in a car will almost double...

            yeah..

instead of taking idiots off the road to make everyone safer, we just add 345345324 airbags..

              Yep.

Remember - airbags kill people too.

Why the hell can't we just re-test everyone with a decent road test, and then see who can drive or not.

I say road test every 10 years.

why? the double overdrive is great for gas mileage, and that is really what everyone is worried about.

Great idea...that's how it should be, and make it 2 years for everyone over 70.

But the problem is that we've evolved into testing to a spec rather then common sense.

And the spec is doing nothing but getting more and more difficult to achieve.

Soon, roof-rail and side impact air bags will be a requirement, not an option.

And if the OEMs want a 5-star vehicle, they'll have to include knee bags as well (mounted underneath the steering column and deploying rearward and downward).

Add 'em all up, and you're looking at 15 airbags in a 4-door sedan in 3-5 years...

Did anyone else notice how large of diameter of tires they have?

                    Most 4th gen v8s got 245 50 16 which equals 25.6" inches tall

The new 5th gen is getting 245 55 18 which quals 28.6" inches tallk.
I hope there is a error and ment to write 245 45 18.

Some people refuse to buy a Honda, Toyota, Nissan, or other POS that doesn't come from N. America or Europe.

Why does it have such narrow tires? Are those V6 specs?
