I noticed that too. Dual mufflers on a seemingly V6 version. The car was quiet... too quiet to be a v8 unless it was a plane-jane detuned v8 but I still would've thought with the two mufflers it'd be louder if it were a v8.

sounded like a v8 to me when it left but i could be wrong

Really? I couldn't hear the exhaust at all, that's why I thought v6.

It was a V8 stick. It's the powertrain development mule(Al and Scott said it's REALLY fun to drive!). You should hear my wife's G8 GT. You'd never know that's a V8 it's so quiet. Even when you get on it it's still overly quiet. It has 3 resonators and 2 mufflers in the exhaust besides the 2 cats. I'm pretty sure there's stricter noise regulations now than what there was even a few years ago. STUPID GOVERNMENT!!!
