Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

I guess i dont have good enough speakers on my laptop. I have the volume maxed and it could be an electric car going around a track for all i know, all im hearing is tire noise.
I have speakers that came with a little woofer, and when I crank it up some, you can REALLY hear it
1994 Z28 Black, M6, Hardtop, SLP Loudmouth I, GM Performance Cold-Air Intake, 96-97 SS spoiler, 17" x 9.5" Chrome Z06 Motorsports, Longtubes
"It's not who I am underneath, but what I *DRIVE* that defines me."
I think the reporter needs to get his facts straight. In the video he says its the Z28 and not the higher powered Super Sport... It was to my understanding that the Z28 was to be the highest powered model...
I've finally figured it out now...lol...
The only guys who keep thinking that the Z28 will be the top model, are the Z28 owners...
But, back on topic, if that is a Z, and they're putting Brembos on a Z, how much is that thing going to go for?
Or is it a mis-mash of parts for testing purposes?
Good to see it being properly exercised, and the exhaust did sound good...
P.S. 5000 posts...

I think it is because I take it in and out all the time, the rubber has just stretched out, especially at the bottom where it is really thin. It annoys me more then anything.
Something else occurred to me...if they do offer the Brembos on a base Z28 and maybe include something similar to the 1LE package but lacking the big motor (i.e heavier motor) of the SS, that would make a lot of people happy...kind of a return to Z28 roots...it would especially make Joel happy...

Yeah, I think in all honesty it only makes sense for the SS to be the top package. If they leave the Z28 as the base v8 model then it'll get the Z28 out into the market more than the SS because most people won't buy the top of the line SS, they'll get the base Z28.
I work for Brembo here in Michigan and from what I've been told the Brembo brakes will be on the SS model. Brembo is still deciding where they'll me physically made though, over in Italy or here at my plant. I hope like crazy that we get to make them.
and if they make the SS with same engine as the new CTSV, I'll be first in line. 550 hp off the show room floor! I just don't see it happening.
It will happen, but it will only be 500 cars or something. GM's put too much money into the Camaro not to milk it for everything its worth. And they could mark them up pretty high, and they would still sell. Theres more rich now then ever. Its the middle class that will be struggling to get into a 5th gen.
