I like what i see. I think the headlamps need to be what they were on the concept, but thats about it. You can clearly see where the bowtie mounts on the grille and is just missing, so cant complain about that.

Im very glad to see a noticeable cowl and Z06 style inlet on the car, be it fake or not.

imo gm has been dissapointing me. needs to flatten out the front and widen it. that better not be a sun roof Dosent look like its made for t-tops. I know it can whoop the mustang but if it doesent beat the challanger i may be tempted to get a challager.

At first looks I was PISSED about the dual headlights, then I got this in an email from Scott Settlemire:

As John says - this is a test mule -- not all parts are correct -- esp. headlamps - which frankly, we velcro'd and Hot-glued on so that we could test at night..........

You've heard us say it before - -and I'll repeat it.......the production car is so close to the concept that we think it will fool a lot of people..........


Oh...and YES that's a sunroof, which suprises me. they got rid of the recessed channel in the center of the roof giving it a flat spot for a sunroof. This was discussed in another thread, new crash standards have effectively killed off T tops for good.

im not driving a camaro with a sunroof, and i don't want another hard top, and i hate ragtops personaly, sooo..... looks like im probaly not getting a 5th gen. ill just stick with 4th gens. Hopefully the 4th gen prices go down when the 2010 comes out.

How is it a fail? Blame the government and all the idiot proofing they have to do to keep everyone safe from themselves for the death of T tops. Moonroofs are the solid steel panels that recess back into the roof. A sunroof has glass.

sun roofs do not belong on camaros sorry. it just dosent feel right.
