T-tops is a good thing, but b-pillars on a hard top car is FTL. The open window effect is B-A.

Booo to B pillars!!! The wife want's a vert anyways so I'm most likely holding out for that as I can't afford a coupe and a vert.

T-tops!!!!! That was my one disappointment was the lack of t-top ability... now we might get that ability again!

                    Sorry guys.

Our body-in-white arrived a couple of weeks ago, and the B-pillar is there because the rest of the structure is too weak...although the way they going to implement the rear fixed quarter window will make it look like the B-pillar isn't there.

Having seen both the Camaro and Challenger now, I'd say that the Challenger has more structure underneath to support any chassis iterations, including 'verts.

Granted, all I've seen is coupes, but I'd like to know how they're going to reinforce the Camaro for a convertible application.

And as a strange little side note, for whatever reason (I don't know the exact failure), the Challenger was held up for 6 weeks on it's S0 crash testing because of an alledged issue with the front fascia/bumper/energy management system...things that make you go hmmmmmmm...

Well, if there's no convertible, there's virtually zero chance of my ever buying one. That's okay, though, I'm not really a new-car kinda guy anyway.

There will be a Camaro 'vert...Chrysler has said "no" to a Challenger 'vert but the underpinnings look like they're there to do one if they chose.

Personally, I think a triple black SRT Challenger convertible with the pistol grip shifter would be steel sex on wheels.
