I've not heard of anybody that just goes over for a single tour...I think two is a minimum...some National Guard guys have been forced into four...

          Not worth it, dude...

What you leave behind is a bunch of unanswered questions and family that has to cope knowing that a Sand Cricket blew you up.
My brother in law was killed 2 months ago over there, trust me with what the military pays you to stay here you can buy a camaro next year if your are smart with your money.
Think about your family, are they worth TRYING to get a camaro and not make it.
Go for the right reason if you are going to go!

if u join the military it better be for the right reasons. If it isn't a passion, you won't even make it past boot camp.

And if it were just to buy a camaro, the odds of you dying would be great because there you are on the battle field thinking of how nice it will be to own one with your head up in the air........that's when you get taken out.

Everyone's posts above are right and true.

yeah, umm, only one thing comes to mind when reading the initial post. window licker. the military is no joke, especially with the way things are now. i know a few marines who would probably be incredibly offended hearing something like that.

sounds like a good idea, be sure to pm me with your parents address though, so that 20 years from now i can buy it off of them with no miles since you only drove it one month before you had to go back and were killed
