PT Rocket Car

A little more info on the Power Tour Rocket Car.
It's an ex-carnival ride and several guys remember swinging around in as they hung by chains.
It sits on Oldsmobile Toronado chassis. So it does have an Olds rocket engine and is front wheel drive.
Guy that built it runs the Cleveland Autorama so he definately is a car guy. They said he also owns a sbc powered unicycle LOL.

The car was ready to go ..... but my wallet was not good enough to take on Power Tour this year.

yeah there is a big difference, he's making way more money then us

I make decent money but just have a hard time justifing the money when I could turn around and put that same $2K into my car instead....maybe one of these years I'll do HRPT....it's on the list.

Then you need to wait as long as possible before going. Because it's like sex, once you do it you're hooked

Ain't that the truth. I am already trying to figure out how we can do it next year. I already promised the family a trip down to see Mickey Mouse next year. So i guess I have a lot of Saving to do.
