i wouldnt hesitate to do a swap as long as you keep the original drivetrain and dont ruin anything that you couldnt put it back.

Buddy of mine's landlord is storing a 66 Stang in one of his rental garages behind my friend's apartment, it's got a built 302, full cage, look like Salt Flat 15" wheels, racing buckets, it's pretty radical. Gorgeous car, it has just been sitting in the garage for a little over 10 years. He comes out and fires it up about once every 6 months, he's been offered outrageous amounts for it, but he won't sell it. Looks stock on the outside except for the wheels, but under the hood lurks a monster. . . lol

My mom had a 67 stang that she let my grandparents drive it this was about 20+ years ago but they sold it behind her back and my dad asked my mom where it went to and my mom asked my grandma and she said they sold it. My dad was going crazy for the amount they sold it for $500 bucks and it was gone we would still have it to this day if they wouldnt of sold it

Thanks guys! I was kinda hoping to get most of the work done before the M&G, and possibly bring both cars, but free time has been at a premium lately . . . . so one of these weeks I will definitely bring it to Woodward. Also we plan to do the Dream Cruise this year, that is my absolute drop-dead completion date for the cleanup.

Ever do any minor paint work? It has these 5 or so little spots where the paint is gone and it's started to rust - most are about the size of a quarter, a couple are a little bigger. Not dents, just rust spots. I'd really like to fix them before I take it to shows & stuff.

Eventually I'll repaint the whole car, but not this year. So I'm looking for advice and/or help with touching these spots up. I'd like to do it at home if possible.
