  • Project Progress....

I know it's a Mustang but it's my dad's car and our father/son project none the less. I'll give you a bit of background information first.

My grandfather bought it for my grandma back in 1972 off the showroom floor. In 1976, she got sick of the car and sold it to my dad. He drove it as a daily driver for 8 years until 1984 when my parents bought another car and had to use the Mustang's coil as a replacement for the new ride. It sat from 1984 until 2006 when my dad finally said it's time to tear into it. It's a triple white (white exterior, white interior, white top) 1973 Mustang with a 351 Clevland, automatic, and 58k orginal miles. Here are some pics......

    Day 1...

It's pretty cool! I'm not a fan of 'verts but it's the last year of the big body Mustang before the Mustang II and it's been in the family for 34 years now!

Thanks man! The only thing me and my dad agree on are this Mustang and snowmobile trips. So basically 8 months a year we are like Paul Sr. and Paul Jr. on American Chopper!

something i just pondered is why every time a car nut wants to restore something.. the first thing that comes to mind is.. "let me take it apart as far as i can, and then put it back together"

                              lol...
