  • Red Alert's Rebirth, but not Finished

Well, here's the "progress pictures" as I'll call it. Troy Collision came through and did a very nice job on the paint, I have to admit. Even after all the jerking around it came out nice. There's only a few blemishes in the paint and they said to bring it back and they'll rub it out with the wheel.

Overall, I'm happy now. They put the old grill back on, even though it's all scuffed and damaged on the top driver's side corner. Of course, it's missing its fog lights too. The new grill HOPEFULLY should be coming next week and I can order my fog lights soon.

All that's really left is to get the grill & fog lights taken care of, and then to put both of my new rims on (I only have one of them on) and then to have the new rims on the rear and the old rims on the front. Then she's finished (from the accident, at least, there's always more work to be done )

    Anyway, here's the pics:

And this is how I looked all night now that I have my car back:

The accident happened on April 20th and immediately went to Troy Collision. Insurance haggled around until the end of April. We gave them the go ahead on May 7th and dropped the bumper and fender off on May 8th. So all in all about 3 weeks.

I think like 5 people made comments about wanting to hump it since I got it back.
