I would find a power antenna on ebay or from the dealer. Provides a cleaner look on the quarter panel. You could always shave it off too.
What you talking about Sean his Third Gen is right in his MiFbody garage?Originally posted by kammi10 View Posthey wade u dont even own the 3rd gen yet so your not part of the familyLast edited by CHMLEON; June 1st, 2007, 12:06 PM.

Damn...must be nice being unemployed and still have money to burn.Originally posted by GETGONE View PostYeah..I'm part of the LS1/SS family, 3800 V6 family and 3rd gen family! I scored another set of silver 10 spokes with good tires with only 28K on them for it since these are dirty and the tires are worn and there's a chunk out of the right front tire sidewall. I pick them up tomorrow. Ordered a set of clear front marker lights for it already. We'll see what else I find before the weekend's over!sigpicTurbo Charged LS1/T56

Why are power antennas a pain? I am curious since i did not know that they had problems.Originally posted by GETGONE View PostSo the title on the IROC isn't in my name yet but I'm still buying it from him so it's mine.
Power antennas are a pain in the butt. I'll probably just put a shorty on it like I did on my SS.

Well tonight I washed it and changed the oil and air filter and wiper blades and cleaned the interior. I found the typical fender bow on it. I knew the drivers side was bowed but when I was under the car changing the oil I saw the passenger side was all bent up as well. I'll have to get back under there tomorrow and try to straighten it out as best I can. there's a few scuffs in the paint and a small dip on the passenger side 1/4 between the door and fenderwell. Looks like they rubbed against something and pushed it in a little. It appears from the documentation that was in the car that it may have been a one owner Florida car. The front bumper, left headlight and turn signal have been replaced. From the paperwork that was in the car it was a light front hit and was only cosmetic and didn't get into anything other than just the bumper cover and headlight. They did an excellent job of paint matching and putting the parts on as I didn't even notice it when I looked the car all over. I'm picking up a new set of silver 10 spokes like what's on it with Goodyears that only have 28K miles on them. I'll keep these ones for snow tires this winter(yes, I'm going to drive it in the snow!!!). I've ordered up some clear marker lights and yanked the ugly stock grill tonight when I was washing it and will be ordering up a billet grill. I'm thinking of putting some stainless RS emblems on it along with stainless CAMARO fill ins. I may put some silver 30th anniversary style stripes on it as well, but that may be down the road a bit. I'm trying to dress it up but not go overboard since this is my daily driver. That's what I said about my Sonoma and it got a full custom two tone repaint and shaved and a bunch of custom parts. I can't help myself! I hate stock vehicles!!! Oh...and this thing smokes the crap out of my truck. My wife drove the Camaro home when I went to pick up the truck from the trans shop. No contest!
