The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. I didn't buy the car with unemployment money. I'm kind of using part of my severance pay for it with the expectation that I'll be selling my truck in the next few weeks. I got to the point where I don't trust the reliability of my truck anymore. This was too good a deal to pass up right now. I'm gonna have to take a huge cut in pay unless a good job pops up shortly. Not looking forward to making like 1/2 or less than what I was making but the job market just sucks in Michigan and I haven't heard from any of the places I applied for in North Carolina.

Damn, no responses in NC? That's where Angie and I were planning on moving to after I graduate if we couldn't find anything for me to do here in MI. Did you apply to Google, Wade? I swear it'd be awesome to say "Yeah, that search engine... Google... Yeah, I work for them."
Brian, I actually did apply for a position with Google if I remember right as well as the small time NBA baskeball team that was looking for an IT position. I think because I had my Michigan address on it they didn't consider me. I'm going to update my resume with my sister's NC address and try applying to some other jobs and see if I get any bites.
Gary, I didn't stop by because I was a bit busy buying the car and that took me from like 3 till 5:30 by the time I test drove it, made the deal, got the money and got the paperwork all done. Then I had to drive all the way back home and get the wife to drive me all the way back so I could bring it home. By the time we got back from all the running around it was 9:30 at night. Of course now it's looking rainy and crappy because I wanted to clean and detail it today. I need to do the SS as well for Sunday if it's not going to rain then.

Wow Beautiful. I agree with you. 3800II's are pretty peppy motors. I think you are going to love the combo of good gas mileage and get up and go. Enjoy you new shiny toy.
Yeah..I'm part of the LS1/SS family, 3800 V6 family and 3rd gen family! I scored another set of silver 10 spokes with good tires with only 28K on them for it since these are dirty and the tires are worn and there's a chunk out of the right front tire sidewall. I pick them up tomorrow. Ordered a set of clear front marker lights for it already. We'll see what else I find before the weekend's over!
