If i dont find a truck that doesnt cost a fortune, i very well may end up getting one of these. Let us know what your gas mileage is after a month or so!

Haha.. my foot will probably be into it heavy for the first month.. so it may not be the best gauge of fuel economy haha!

        • Up to a 90 lb-ft. torque and 48 HP increase on premium fuel

but from what I was reading was that it bumps performance in a more usable part of the power curve, I was talking to a friend who is a ford racing fanatic, said that the catback exhaust that they sell is literally for sound only, helps performance almost none.
That's a healthy increase. Turbo lag is really what I noticed when I drove it - but I'm used to omgboostnao. You're likely more used to turbo lag (I'm getting there with the diesel now). It sounds good at WOT with the stock exhaust, but it's silent at idle.

No. It won't be. At all. Think mid or low 20s.

Mid 20s while having fun is good in my book. I get mid 20s in my fusion and that car isn't fun to drive whatsoever.

Before I got my superglue tires, I could have fun and pull off high 20s in my Cobalt. Around 27 is what I get now during "fun" tanks - a lot of the fun actually ends up saving gas because I no longer need to brake for any turns

My car also weighs less than 3000 lbs, including a tank of fuel and my subs...so that likely helps quite a bit.

I helped develop that Ford Racing tune. It's a fun kit for sure. And you're right, the big bump in torque is in the most useable part of the powerband, so you really feel it in the butt dyno and it makes it a blast for driving around town.

2 years ago I took my Tuner Cobalt SS/TC to Waterford and my mileage was 10.8MPG. (Mainly in 3rd gear)

This past Tuesday I took my 2001 Camaro Z28 to Waterford and my mileage was 9.9MPG. (Mainly 3rd gear except back straight)

I was surprised how close it was as they weigh about the same.

And best of all, the ignition stays in the run position.

Congrats on the new ride Jeremy!!
